Open@Citrix Booth
Citrix supports open source to power its cloud and mobility solutions. As Platinum sponsor of the Apache CloudStack and a Gold Member of the Linux Foundation, Citrix sponsors numerous open source initiatives. Open@Citrix's primary projects are:
- Apache CloudStack: an Infrastructure-as-a-Service cloud computing platform.
- Xen Project: the virtualization collaboration project with Google, Intel, Amazon and others hosted by the Linux Foundation.
- OpenDaylight: an open source software-defined networking controller to increase agility of operations in the cloud.
- XenServer: Citrix's own open source project that leverages the Xen Project's hypervisor and XAPI projects to deliver a turnkey virtualization platform.
At OSCON, you can learn more and find out how to contribute by visiting the Open@Citrix booth in the expo hall. There will be four pods and all of the open source projects (listed above) along with their members to give an overview and answer questions. Visit the Open@Citrix booth in the Expo Hall (booth#601).
After making your way around the pods – sit back, relax and play in the Xbox lounge at the booth! Decked out with two couches, two flat screens and two Xbox 360s – you'll never want to leave :)
